Website Specs

The Nuts and Bolts of Point and Click

Planning and defining expectations are vital to the success of any project. For all interactive applications that we design and develop, we ensure the desired outcome by working in collaboration with our clients to determine and document the key details. Our Website Specifications generally include the following:

  • Statement of project goals, messaging, and calls to action
  • Design considerations and references
  • An outline of the site architecture, including all pages of the site and their relative hierarchy
  • ‘Wireframe’ layouts of the homepage and other key pages of the site (to better determine content relevance and application flow)
  • Detailed functionality specifications and user scenarios

Often, when a client comes to us with a web project that they need help defining, we’ll work with them to develop a Website Specifications document, through a collaborative process of brainstorming and advising. This is a great solution for potential clients who are interested in working with us on a web project but may be uncertain about their specific wants or needs.
